As important as it is for kids to stay active, they also need to know how to take it easy, and they need somewhere to do it. In this post, we’ll give you some ideas and tips for creating a chill out zone just for them. When they rest, we can rest.
THEIR OWN LITTLE NOOK.
The first thing is to find a corner of a house that’s right for them and for you, where other household activities won’t get in the way and you know they’ll be able to unwind. And if there’s natural lighting, all the better.

Rugs or pillows where they can lie down will work wonders. Canopies or curtains that give them a sense of privacy and having their own space are a great idea too. Kids love them!

Another way to mark off their space is by personalizing the walls. You can use paint or colored tape. At boboli, we especially like chalkboard paint that you can draw on with colored chalk. As for the decoration, paintings and mobiles along with garlands or LED lights will help to create an atmosphere and feed their imaginations.

EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE
Putting up some shelves or bringing in some baskets so they can have their books and toys nearby is a must and will help you keep things tidy. There are endless possibilities. You can play with colors and combine different materials and textures. Let your imagination run wild!
