Today we will teach you to prepare: Rice with coconut milk and caramelized bananas. A recipe from @beingbiotiful.
Ingredients (for two persons):
- 185 g rice
- 500 ml water
- 250 ml coconut milk
- A pinch of salt
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon powder
- Vanilla
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 bananas
- Tahini
- Desiccated coconut
Follow these steps:
- In the first place, we recommend that you soak the rice in water for a few hours. This step is optional but advisable.
- When that’s done, strain the rice and cook it in the 500 ml of water.
- After approximately 15-20 minutes, add the coconut milk and stir well.
- Now, add the cinnamon and the pinch of salt and stir again.
- Cut the banana along its length and cook the slices in the coconut oil until they turn a golden brown.
- It’s time to dish up! Serve the coconut milk rice with the bananas, a tablespoon of tahini, desiccated coconut and cinnamon.
- Voilà! Your snack’s ready in the twinkling of an eye. Enjoy it!
