In a few days we’ll be leaving this strange and sad 2020 behind, and welcoming in 2021, a year we’re all awaiting with great eagerness and hope. We wish it to be more peaceful and happier than 2020. That’s why now is the best time to let the bad moments of this past year go and decide what we want for the coming months.
It’s very likely you can improve something or do something new, but how can you make your New Year resolutions come true? You know that if you continue to do the same things you’ve done so far that you will get the same old results.
How do we do it?
We write what we do not want for next year on little paper slips and we burn them on 31st December before the stroke of midnight. This is a ritual carried out in many countries to distance the negative facts of our lives.
Alternatively, we can write what we want to achieve on other paper slips, our aspirations, goals… and we place them in a tiny packet that will accompany us in our pocket throughout the year. You’ll see how your wishes are fulfilled slowly but surely.
