BABIDIBÚ, a different essential reading

The World Book Day is approaching, and we would like to recommend the Babidibú publishing house.

Their books are designed to improve emotional intelligence, imagination, and creativity. Specifically, the Mevés (You can see me) collection inspires us to be more inclusive through stories of inclusion, diversity, and tolerance.

Here’s a selection of books that will help us make our world a better place.

AFRO

Nala is a girl who feels different because her hair doesn’t look like the rest of her classmates. This story teaches us that we are all unique and should love ourselves just as we are.

MARÍA Y EL MAR

Maria, the main character, will help us learn about disability without getting caught up in stereotypes or prejudices.

EL SHOW DE IGU Y ADA

The twin acrobats Igu and Ada are starting to get tired of being treated differently for being a boy or girl. The story tries to get away from gender stereotypes and teach values of equality.

TODAS SON FAMILIAS

This story of five different families helps children see diversity as something positive and identify themselves with one of the families.

TENGO UN PAPÁ Y PUNTO

One day, on his way back from school, Carlos is very worried. He realizes that his family is not like the others. Little by little, he will learn that families come in many forms and that love is the only thing that matters.

EL VIAJE DE MI HIJO

The story of how the baby was adopted and arrived at his foster home helps us see the different families and normalize them in society.

Thanks to Babidibú, we can teach our little ones the values that this society needs and continue to learn together to make a better world. Happy book day!
